Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of one of Central Pennsylvania’s most outstanding volunteer emergency service organizations. Your inquiry about membership with our organization demonstrates that you have a desire and willingness to serve your community in a very special way.

Citizens Fire and Rescue Company #2 believes that its members are its most important resource. Please complete these forms entirely. For those prospective members, either 14 or 15 years of age, please complete the Junior Membership Application that requires a Parental Consent Form with parent/guardian signature and notarization. For those perspective members that are 16 years of age or older, please complete an Application for Membership. Anyone under the age of 18 years of age will require a Parental Consent Form with a parent/guardian signature and notarization. These forms should be completed and returned to the fire company for review by the membership committee. There is a $10.00 application fee which must be submitted with the application, by check or money order. Company membership dues are $2.oo each year following your acceptance.

In accordance with Pennsylvania’s Child Labor Laws, prospective members between 14 and 18 years of age must submit a valid Transferable Work Permit which is available through most school district offices.

Your completed application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and then any necessary background checks will be completed by one of its agents. The application will then be given a final review by the Membership Committee and you will be contacted for a personal interview.
