Fuel Spill

E127 & R 27

Co 27 units were dispatched to the intersection of Market & Simpson for a fuel spill.  C227 (Smithmyer) arrived on  scene to find a fuel spill on Market Street  stretching from Main Street to Simpson Street from an unknown origin.  Crews used  hi-dry on the spill, cleaned up & went  available.

Gas Leak Inside a Structure

Silver Spring  Twp. 

Co's 31, 27, 25 & 28

Units were dispatched on box 33-101 to the 800 block of West Trindle Road for a gas leak inside a structure with patients.  Co's 27 & 33 ran  meters, ventilated, contact UGI & went available.

2 Alarm Apartment Building Fire

Lower Allen  Twp. 

1st Alarm:  Co. s 12, 22, 23, 28 & 37

2nd Alarm:  13, 14, 24, 27, 28, &  30 

 

E 127 was dispatched on the second alarm apartment building fire at  5337 Oxford Circle in Lower Allen Twp.  The Engine arrived on scene to find area units battling three well involved apartments in the middle of the row.  E127 forward laid a 5 inch supply line to E112 & the crew then assisted with fire suppression, overhaul, and clean up.  The 27 crew was out for several hours.
